Platform · 05 Content & Certification Tracking
Every course, certificate and sign-off mapped to the skill it proves.
Eduserge keeps a single library of your training content and the evidence that closes skills: internal courses, external certifications, assessments and manager sign-offs, each tied to the skills it teaches or proves.

Internal course · No target skill

How it works
Four steps, run continuously.
- 01
Bring in the library
Import your LMS catalog, upload SCORM packages or add links. External certifications can be added by name, provider and validity period.
- 02
Map items to skills
Eduserge suggests which skills each item teaches, based on its title, description and content. L&D confirms or corrects every mapping.
- 03
Track validity
Certificates with an expiry date raise a reminder before they lapse, and the related skill is flagged if renewal evidence does not arrive.
- 04
Find dead weight
Items that teach no skill in any target role are flagged, so you can retire them or reconsider their renewal cost.
What goes in
- LMS catalog export or SCORM and xAPI packages
- External course and certification records
- Assessment and work sample templates
- Manager sign-off criteria
What comes out
- One library mapped to your skill taxonomy
- Evidence record per skill per person
- Expiry reminders for certifications
- Coverage report: skills with no content
Coverage at a glance
See which skills in your role library have strong content, which rely on one item, and which have nothing. That becomes your content roadmap.
Certificates that count
An uploaded certificate is checked for provider, date and validity before it closes a skill. Expired certificates stop counting automatically.
Evidence beyond courses
Work samples, peer observations and manager sign-offs are first-class evidence, because many management skills are not learned from a course.
Questions
Content & Certification Tracking, in detail.
Do we have to move off our LMS?
No. Eduserge sits alongside your LMS. Learners can still take courses there; Eduserge tracks which skills those courses close.
How are external certificates verified?
Learners upload the certificate. Eduserge checks the provider, date and expiry, and L&D can require manual approval for specific certifications.
What happens to unmapped content?
It stays in the library but is not used in paths. A coverage report lists it so L&D can decide whether to map, update or retire it.
